The small grow-bag of potatoes has finished; not a bad little crop from one bag. But it’s the Brussels Sprouts (Sanda variety) that are starting to catch my eye: they look remarkable, and suddenly no longer a loathed winter vegetable, but something to look forward to.
Close up, those sprouts look like little alien babies lying in wait.
Enjoy! 😉
Oooh, I love sprouts – and these look lovely!
I only ever really enjoyed Brussels sprouts once – and that was, funnily enough, in Brussels. They were so different to what I’d had over in the UK. So hopefully these home-grown varieties can come close to capturing that taste.
