Bruichladdich Distillery

This is definitely one for the whisky geeks out there. I’ve gone on about this distillery so many times, and recently came across this clip, so thought I’d share it. It’s a nice introduction to the distillery and its history, and sums up what they’re about and why they’re so different.

Thank you for that – it was wonderful. We’ve just met, so a little introduction: I too live on an island – Saaremaa, off the West coast of Estonia, where as well as writing dark fiction, teaching English to Gymnasium students, I work with the local organic farmers group – Saare Mahe. I’m a chef and I organize catering for events around the island that use local and/or organic products – as much as possible. We can’t yet grow lemons here.

That sounds like a lovely organisation to work for – it must be a very rewarding lifestyle, with or without lemons!
