Quite impressive.It’s no surprise she’s been an inspiration for plenty of characters and novels.
Yes, it’s interesting how most of Byzantine history hardly gets any airtime, but not Theodora and Justinian.
It’s proof that character is king (or queen). Although the entire history of Byzantium is full of interesting characters, Justinian’s court is chock full of them.
