A short film of autumnal scenes. This is absolutely my favourite time of the year.

Well, they’re now in and still on pre-order, with a publication date of October 23rd. They look pretty striking – you don’t really see that many blue covers around in the genre section, so hopefully it’ll sit out nicely on the shelves. There’s another nice illustrated map inside as well.
That’s the sixth mainstream novel I’ll have published to date, seven books in all…
A nice little short film.
I’ve been very busy at my other site (I am blogging still – more there, less here for now). Whiskies of note: The One is a British blended whisky, and pretty tasty stuff for the price of £30. I tried an average-tasting old whisky, the Glenfarclas 30 Years Old. But I also tried two really tasty young whiskies, the Glenglassaugh Evolution and the Swedish Smögen Primör whisky – just goes to show how age really isn’t what you should be looking for as the most important indicator of quality when it comes to whiskies.
And if that wasn’t enough whisky action, I went to the Midlands Whisky Festival. Told you I’ve been busy.
Basically, why all science fiction movies are scientifically inaccurate. Not that we care!
Someone’s spent the time looking at all the POV vehicle shots in Wes Anderson’s films.
