Fantasycon

So that’s Fantasycon done with. I’ve been for the last few years, but this was the first time where I was an author rather than an editor.

Which meant I had to pay for my own drinks.

Good to chat to lots of guys and girls, in particular Tim Lebbon, Stephen Volk (of Ghostwatch fame!), Darren Turpin, Sam Smith of Orbit, that scoundrel John Berylne, Cheryl Morgan, Lee Harris, Kari Sperring, Mark Yon from SFF World. Plenty of others of course, and nice to see plenty of new faces this year (glad you enjoyed it, Hagelrat!) an important sign of any convention.

The panel on “New kids on the block” was surprisingly well attended for 10am on the Sunday, so thanks to all who came along.
