Book Surgery

This, by the Book Surgeon, is a rather unique form of editing a book – more clinical than most authors could cope with, perhaps. Part of me wonders how someone could possibly destroy a book in such a way, but the end result is rather beautiful.

That is too cool. I too flinched a bit at the mutilation of books though.

It almost seems a reinterpretation of the texts.

I think it’s amazing that he doesn’t add or glue things in – what you see is purely the result of cutting out. Pure artistry.
