It seems I’ll have to come back to GB : I never stopped there and I like it very much indeed ! The contrast between the naked rocks and the fields below is really interesting.

The limestone at the top had a wonderful texture compared with the rest of the landscape. The escarpment stretched on for a good half a mile, too. There’s such variety in the local area – another mile away I was walking along a wonderful, wide river that stretched through trees. You wouldn’t have even known the rocks were nearby!
