Garden Watch

Whereas the first half of the year largely seems to be about putting things into the garden, we’re finally getting to the good stuff. Some of the onions are ready. Broad beans are good to go. Apple wine (home-brewed) is being sipped. (All this is pictured in Hipstamatic, in an attempt to add coolness.) There’s stacks of other stuff lined up, too – runner beans, strawberries, raspberries, lettuce.

While your books may be the meat of questionable origin of the blog, I love your garden-porn. And your whisky flings, of course.

Your dalliances with back-yard agrarianism and right-on, people-powered home brewing are an inspiration.

Mind you, not to actually go grubbing in my *own* patch of dirt – which seems in my defense, to mostly be brick and bottle land-fill. But to ask *when* the invitations to the garden party can be reasonably expected.

Cheers.

It’s pretty easy to start a few things… And you can do so all year!

The garden party kind of depends upon having any space. Unfortunately, the only guests could be fruit and vegetables this year…
