I always remember this footage with the radio recording of the event from my childhood. It left a very indelible mark on my memory and still strikes a chord with me every time I see it.
It really is rather powerful isn’t it? I remember the iconic photographs as a child and I don’t think I quite appreciated the sense of scale that this video reveals. Horrific event.
