A quick visit in the evening, to weed and water everything. Tomatoes are really doing well in the greenhouse. Everything else is busy growing. No pests or diseases right now, and we’ve discovered an apple tree just next to our patch that will drop some fruit over for us. A lovely time of year – if only we had more time to relax and enjoy it!

Something unfortunately must have gotten my raspberry bush, because even after pruning and a solid few months of growth, they’re coming in a bit small and dying quickly.
Hmm, raspberries are usually pretty robust things. Maybe they’ll rally later in the year if they’re autumn fruiters?
I hope so. There are still some new ones that may ripen later this month.
