Stornoway – I Saw You Blink

Three posts today? Must be my week off work. So here’s some music for your summer evenings, when you’re reclining by a river bank, or if you’re generally into the New Folk. These guys are pretty good: they’re playing in a Fernery.

Any band named after a Scottish island are probably going to be good :) I heard these guys play the same song on Radio 4 a few weeks ago, and now here it is again… iTunes is calling.

Admittedly, when browsing iTunes, it was their name that initially lured me…!

    RE: Cuts & Myths

Fully agree with you Mark. I’ve always said personally that if we want real change in ths country, then we need to enshrine a seperation of State and Corporation, much in the same way that we currently have a seperation of State and Church.

As it stands, the dystopian visions of some of our beloved Sci-Fi writers get closer to reality by the day.

Thanks, Jo – should that happen, many a corporation would collapse no doubt…

Awesome stuff. I really like their sound. Have you heard anything by Mumford & Sons?

Chase – yeah, I’ve got the Mumford & Sons album, but only really had it on in the background – I should give it a more serious listen really.

    Yes, Stornoway are really good.
And I recommend the Mumford and Sons album, along with the Frightened Rabbit album ‘The Winter of Mixed Drinks’
